Our global network of Storytellers-in-Residence, including writers, filmmakers, photographers, podcasters, and other creators go beyond the front desk to discover, explore and capture the history of our featured hotels, from their history, architecture and design, glitz and glamour, scandals and affairs, celebrity connections, uninvited guests, and other defining moments.

We believe that every hotel, historical or not, is a set, a stage, and a character within itself. A never-ending live-theater performance with unfolding scenes. From overnight guests to drop-in visitors to hotel associates, the panoply of people occupying a hotel at any given moment creates the ultimate improv performance. Characters from different walks of life, religions, and political persuasions change the storyline every single day. We tell their stories.

Our 3C strategy puts the traveler/consumer at the middle to develop content that builds communities that drive commerce. Every content package connects content to commerce and delivers heads in beds.

The team also offers one-on-one, digital training, and on-site training workshops that transform associates into storytellers themselves.

Led by Storytellers and Hotel Marketers

Storied Hotels was founded by Emmy, Cannes Lion, and James Beard Award Winning Producer, Media Executive, and Brand Storyteller David Beebe, who most recently was the first ever Vice President of Global & Creative and Content Marketing for Marriott International.

Beebe, who AdWeek named a "Branded Content Master Who Makes it OK to Love Marketing," created the Marriott Content Studio, Marriott’s Global Social Media Command Centers, and Marriott Traveler while overseeing consumer-facing creative and content for Marriott's portfolio of brands.

Beebe was the Executive Producer and led creative development, production, and distribution strategy for premium content productions including scripted films like Two Bellmen One, Two Bellmen Two, Two Bellmen Three, Business Unusual, French Kiss, and The Other End of The World as well as unscripted content including Hotel Countdown, Do No Disturb and Open Invitation, as well as campaigns content like Book Direct.

Prior to Marriott, Beebe founded and led the Disney/ABC Television Group Content Studio as their first ever VP for seven years, and produced content for Showtime, DIRECTV, Yahoo Screen! and PBS.

Combining his experience as a Hollywood Producer and Hospitality Brand Marketer with his passion for hospitality and travel, Beebe founded Storied Hotels, a Storified Hospitality Group, Inc company.
