NEW YORK – New York Hilton Midtown is proud to announce Kellie Cahill’s promotion from director of sales & marketing to commercial director, a newly created and key position for the award-winning hotel. In her new role, Cahill, a certified meeting professional, will oversee all commercial areas of the hotel’s business including catering, group events, sales, and marketing. She will also work alongside the executive committee and senior leadership group to continue to drive top line revenue to the 1,878-room hotel.

“We are delighted to celebrate Kellie Cahill as she embarks on this new chapter in her career,” says Diarmuid Dwyer, general manager of the iconic Midtown Manhattan hotel. “Kellie’s dedication and leadership within our hotel has positively impacted her team members across a variety of divisions including sales, catering, events, and marketing. I’m excited to see where she takes them in 2019 and beyond.”

Cahill’s promotion is a direct result of over 20 years of experience in the greater New York City market with Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Prior to this role, she was the director of group sales for the hotel, and the assistant director of sales for DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center in Somerset, NJ. Cahill graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Hospitality Administration/Management.
