Hilton Cambridge City Centre Welcomes Their Gin-Inspired Cows About Cambridge Sculpture With A Free Gin Cocktail

CAMBRIDGE, UK – Hilton Cambridge City Centre welcomed their Cows about Cambridge sculpture, MOOOre Gin Please, by artist Laura-Kate Chapman on Monday, 28 June 2021. The sculpture is part of the Wild In Art trail, featuring 90 cow sculptures all uniquely decorated, across Cambridge’s streets, parks and open spaces. The exhibition is available through 4 September 2021.

In keeping with the sculpture’s celebration of the craft gin revolution, the hotel is offering a complimentary gin cocktail or soft drink to trail visitors who download the Cows about Cambridge app and unlock the award by visiting MOOOre Gin Please. 

Richard Finn, general manager, said, “As so many people are looking for UK staycation activities this summer, we felt that participating in the Cows about Cambridge trail was the perfect way to encourage visitors to explore our unique city. 

In addition to providing an affordable activity that the entire family can enjoy, the trail provides a tour of Cambridge where visitors can stop off and visit museums, gardens, galleries, bars and restaurants, shopping, theatres and historic architecture.” 

Artist Laura-Kate Champman, who has three sculptures on the trail, said of her MOOOre Gin Please design, “It is a celebration of the natural botanicals that are part of the gin-making process and highlights how diverse the flavours of different gins can be. It is also a nod to my love of botanical illustration and my passion for nature” 

The 10-week Cows about Cambridge art trail concludes with a Farewell Weekend event on 18-19 September 2021 and a Charity Auction event on 23 September 2021 with proceeds benefitting children’s charity, Break.
